On Sunday, November 6th, Aaron Porter and myself, launched our latest book in the Desdemona’s Dreams series, The Land of Mar. What a beautiful day to sell fairy tale books and artwork, as a light breeze made its way through the sunshine on the patio of Tubby and Coo’s book shop. We signed our picture books, took pictures with two adorable little girls, that we were told read our first book, To Dream of Dancing, to each other all night long, and talked fairy tales with the incredible people that came to our book launch. Some folks bought our greeting cards with the Desdemona’s Dreams artwork, some bought prints, and all of them brought smiles that brightened and already beautiful day. Thank you to Tubby and Coo’s for being excited to have us there, and having a pirate treasure hunt at the same time as we did our signing. There are pirates in the Land of Mar, so beware!
Tonight, from 5-8pm I’ll be doing a book signing at Estella’s Home X-mas party in Old Metairie. Come out for both volumes signed by me, Z.W. Mohr, and each one will include a free digital download of the read along audiobook of To Dream of Dancing. Here’s the address if you can make it, 601 Frisco Ave, Metairie, LA 70005. On Saturday, November 12th, I’ll be doing another book signing at NOLA Kids from 12-3pm, at 333 Chartres St, New Orleans. It should be another beautiful day to be out signing fairy tales, so come on by, bring your kids, or just your need for whimsy and wonder, and talk fairy tales with me.
